TURBOHAG is a DJ / Turntablist originally from Auckland.

Scratching and Hip hop have always been a passion since scrounging a loan from his old man to buy his first ever set of 1200's at the age of 16.

About 14 years down the track (and a few worn out records later) and Turbohag has been lucky enough to support (and sometimes jam along side) some of the best DJs and acts from NZ, the UK and USA, such as The Nextmen - Concord Dawn - Dj Babu & Raaka Iriscience (Expansion team Soundsystem) - Krafty Kuts - Tiki Taane - A-sides - DJ Revolution - The Upbeats - Shapeshifter - Akil the MC (Jurassic 5) - De La Soul (as part of the Sunshine Soundsystem) - Rhombus - Ladi 6 - King Kapisi & too many more to name.

Described by The Nextmen's Brad Baloo as "one of the world's best DJs with the 15th worst DJ name", Turbohag's sets can morph through a variety of styles from Reggae infused Hip hop to Drum & Bass and everything in between but always keepin it Bass heavy and non-commercial.
